Huron Township and Ripley history book launch event set for Thursday
The latest history book for Huron Township and Ripley is ready, and just in time for Christmas.
To celebrate, the history book committee is hosting a launch party for the book, "Families and Farms of Huron Township and Ripley 2015," Thursday, Dec. 18, from 7:30-9 p.m., in the upstairs room at the Ripley Arena.

The official launch will take place at 8 p.m., with refreshments and snacks to follow. Members of the reunion committee will also be in attendance, with reunion merchandise and tickets for sale. 

Copies of "Families and Farms of Huron Township and Ripley 2015" will be available for pick-up and purchase ($70 per book, cash or cheque). Only 1,000 books have been printed and 600 have already been pre-ordered.

The book was produced by the history book committee in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Copies of the history book will also be available for pick-up and purchase at 44 Queen Street in Ripley (former Village Flower Shop) on the following dates:

Friday, Dec. 19, 1-8 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 29, 2-8 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2-8 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 3, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
