Snowbirds to perform June 21 at Saugeen Municipal Airport
In honour of Bruce County's 150th anniversary and Canada 150, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will perform Wednesday afternoon, June 21, at the Saugeen Municipal Airport, located between Walkerton and Hanover.

During their 30- to 50-minute show, which is choreographed to music, the Snowbirds will perform more than 50 different formations and maneuvers, including thrilling solo passes, graceful nine-plane formations, and exciting rolls and loops.

Admission to the Bruce 150 Anniversary air show is free, and there will be lots to see, including static displays, demonstrations, other aircraft, and more. All eight municipalities, including Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss, have been asked to assist in the cost of this show.

The Snowbirds arrive Tuesday afternoon, June 20, and there is a Preflight Reception in Walkerton that night. Contact snowbirds@hanoversaugeenairport.com or 519-377-3777 for ticket information.

The gates for the air show open at Noon at the Saugeen Municipal Airport. Opening ceremonies are at 4 p.m., followed by aerobatic demonstrations, and the Snowbirds program, "Celebrate the Bruce and Canada 150."

Everyone is invited to meet the Snowbirds pilots after the show for autographs and photos.
