INVERHURON AND DISTRICT RATEPAYERS' ASSOCIATION

The Inverhuron and District Ratepayers' Association held its annual yard sale and craft show on a rainy Saturday (July 22) but the rain didn’t dampen the vendors or the crowd. Let’s hope the weather next year is good to them.

MANOR MUSINGS

Tiverton Park Manor is once again holding its annual Cruise Night, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m. There are some changes this year. The barbecue will be hosted by The King's Pearl, and there will be carnival games, raffles, ice cream, a miniature horse petting zoo and face-painting for the kids. There will also be an open mic night for the many talented musicians in the area. This is sure to be a great night for the whole family. Make sure you mark this on your calendar.

AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY

The Tiverton Agricultural Society appreciates the volunteers who helped make the annual Bruce County Beef Dinner Sunday evening a success, particularly the "pie makers" who made and donated all the delicious home-baked pies, and to the community for supporting the organization in this fund-raiser. This event has been held for the past six years.
