Kincardine water supply restored
The Municipality of Kincardine water supply has been restored to the Kincardine water treatment plant.
Sunday night, public works director Adam Weishar reported that the water operations department was experiencing issues with its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Kincardine water supply, and had switched over to the Huron-Kinloss water supply as an interim measure.
He urged water users to conserve water until notified otherwise.
As of 10:55 a.m., Monday, the water supply was restored, said Weishar, in an E-mail. "Thank you to everyone for their conservation measures during the inconvenience," he said.
