Bulldogs welcome Fairmount Security as major sponsor

The Kincardine Bulldogs of the Pollock Division in the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL), are pleased to welcome Fairmount Security as a major sponsor for the 2017-18 season.

“We have a great relationship with the Bulldogs and have provided security services at numerous Bulldog events, so building on that relationship was only natural," said Tom Wheildon, chief executive officer of Fairmount Security. "We are very pleased to be a major sponsor of the Bulldogs and recognize their organization as one of the best in not only the PJHL but the OHA as well.”

“The Bulldogs are extremely pleased that Tom and the people at Fairmount Security have deemed the Bulldogs worthy of a sponsorship,” said Darren Maurer, treasurer of the hockey club. “Any time a well-respected company like Fairmount Security is willing to provide its support, that validates what we are doing. We are very grateful for the vote of confidence.”

The Bulldogs are preparing for their 24th year in the PJHL in September of this year.

Mike Hackett of the Bulldogs said Nicol Insurance continues to be a major sponsor of the team.

"Nicol Insurance has been a tremendous sponsor over the past several years," he said. "Understandably, the company is looking to spread its sponsorship dollars around a little more, and Fairmount Security stepped in to act as ‘co-sponsor,’ for lack of a better term. We certainly value both of these companies for their sponsorship and support, and all the local businesses who make the team a success."

Fairmount Security provides security services as well as bylaw and parking enforcement services in several communities in the Grey/Bruce area and has been the security provider of choice for numerous organizations and municipalities.

The Bulldogs have notched two wins and a tie in exhibition hockey which continues with a game against Stayner, Sunday (Aug. 27) at 5:15 p.m., at the Davidson Centre.
