Delage Mowle of Kincardine wins Kincardine Theatre Guild scholarship

Delage Mowle of Kincardine has received the Doug Pellett Memorial Scholarship, presented Thursday afternoon by Bonnie Bryan and Leise Peddie of the Kincardine Theatre Guild.

The $1,000 scholarship was named after Pellett, a long-time theatre guild member, who died last year.

Delage, the daughter of Kevin and Joan Mowle, is attending Nipissing University in North Bay this fall, taking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The theatre guild was also performing other duties last week, as members assisted customers, set tables and cleared tables, during celebrity server night, Aug. 17, at Boston Pizza in Kincardine.
