Sobeys sponsors local girls on Waterloo United soccer team
Four local girls who played on the Waterloo United soccer team, showed their appreciation to Sobeys Kincardine for the financial support of the team this past season, by presenting a thank-you plaque to the business owned and operated by Chris and Stephanie Napier.
Waterloo United placed second in the Western Region Soccer League (WOYSL). The team's regular season record was 14-0-4 with a +21 goal differential. It had seven shut-outs, two players in the top 10 goal-scorers for the league, 10 of 18 players scored goals this season, and the team won two tournaments in the United States.
The local girls playing on the team included Cassidy Murray-Collins, Annie Leppington, Amelia Arciszewski and Natalie Humphrey.
