Trillium Court hosts national open house, volunteer appreciation
Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine hosted a Revera National Open House on the weekend, raising $850 for the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce.
The open house featured a bake sale, a delicious lunch deal, and copies of the Trillium Court Cookbook for sale. Sunday afternoon, there was also entertainment by "Leavin' Tracks" of Goderich.
In addition, Trillium Court hosted a volunteer appreciation luncheon, Sept. 12.
At that event, long-time volunteer Karen Shanks was presented with the Circle of Excellence certificate on behalf of the Ontario Long-Term Care Association, for her significant contribution of volunteering at Trillium Court.
The next main event at Trillium Court is "Oktoberfest ist Wunderbar," Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m., featuring the Twin City Echo Band of the Concordia Club in Kitchener.
Come and kick up your heels and get into the Oktoberfest spirit.
