Order of the Eastern Star donates to Kincardine hospital auxiliary

The Bruce Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star has donated $950 to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital auxiliary.

At the hospital auxiliary meeting Wednesday, Donna Mowry made the presentation to president Donna Mowry and treasurer Wilma Manary.

Mowry has been the Worthy Matron of the Bruce Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for the past year and in this position, she is able to select a charity to which a donation will be made from funds raised by that organization.

She chose the hospital auxiliary, and the donation will be used to purchase medical equipment for the Kincardine hospital.

Collins thanked her for choosing the auxiliary and helping to support the health care needs of our community.
