Gordon Pharmasave owners open Playful Piper, expand Accents across the street
Rob and Vicki Rogers, owners of Gordon Pharmasave and Accents by Gordon's in downtown Kincardine, have made some changes to their businesses.
The Accents location, to the north of the drug store on Queen Street, has now become the Playful Piper Baby and Kids Boutique, while Accents is moving into the former Coffee Culture shop on the west side at the corner of Queen and Harbour Streets.
The Playful Piper opened Monday at 775 Queen Street, and features clothes, toys, piggy banks, frames, and more, for infants and children.
Accents, at 764 Queen Street, is set to open before Hometown Christmas, Nov. 17, featuring giftware and home decor, with an emphasis on ornaments and decorations for Christmas.
Anne Marie Gomes, front store manager, said the baby section was doing well and the Accents store needed more space to expand. So, the owners opted to provide the baby boutique in the former Accents location, and move Accents across the street to a larger location.
The name, Playful Piper, came from Progressive Results Group of Kincardine which provides marketing and promotion for company.
