KDSS Me to We group holds fund-raisers for food bank, and Spread the Net
The Kincardine and District Secondary School Me to We Club held its annual "We Scare Hunger" food drive at the end of October and brought in a total of 235 items. All food collected has been donated to the Kincardine Food Bank.
The Me to We Club also had a very successful bake sale. Proceeds from the sale, combined with a donation from the student council after the KDSS Halloween Dance, brought the total to $330. This money is going to the “Spread the Net” organization for bed nets to help prevent the spread of malaria.
The club appreciates all the support from the staff and students at KDSS.
