Kincardine area gets first blast of winter weather Thursday night
The Kincardine area received its first blast of winter Thursday night as snow and high wind, combined with below-zero temperatures, reminded everyone that the cold weather is on its way.
Friday morning, people woke up to a few inches of snow on their driveways and vehicles - enough to bring out winter coats, boots and snowsuits, as well as snow brushes and shovels.
While motorists had to be cautious driving on the snowy roadways, students were enjoying the white, fluffy stuff, making snowballs and building snow forts.
The weather continues cold for Remembrance Day Saturday, but the forecast is for warmer temperatures through the week, with rain.
