Kincardine hospital auxiliary press reporter wins second in HAAO photo contest

Liz Nurton, press reporter for the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine hospital auxiliary, has placed second in the "fund-raising" category for the Hospital Auxiliaries Association of Ontario (HAAO) photo contest.

Nurton won for the photo (below), taken of Linda Stanley and Sheila Elliott at the geranium pick-up day, May 18, 2017, which was featured in the local media.

Pat Emmerton accepted the award at the HAAO Convention in Toronto, Nov. 7, and it was presented to Nurton at the hospital auxiliary's Christmas meeting Wednesday in Kincardine.
