Crowd braves the cold for Ripley Christmas Celebration, Sunday night
It wasn't snowing or raining, but it certainly was cold and windy Sunday night for the annual Ripley Christmas Celebration.
However, the crowd braved the elements and lined the downtown streets for the Parade of Lights which ended at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre where the children visited with Santa Claus. There was also an hour of free skating.
The Kincardine Santa Claus Parade runs this Saturday, Dec. 2, beginning at the Sutton Park plaza at 6:30 p.m., and marching to Victoria Park, where Santa will greet children in the Scougall Gallery at the Kincardine Arts Centre.
