The announcement was made Friday by Huron-Kinloss mayor Mitch Twolan.

"Emily (Dance) brings a wealth of knowledge and many years of municipal experience to this position," said chief administrative officer Mary Rose Walden. Dance's experience is complimented by a diploma in municipal administration and she is currently pursuing, part-time, a degree in public administration and governance. She also holds a Certified Municipal Officer designation.
