Blowing and drifting snow continues through Boxing Day in Kincardine area
Heavy snow and high wind brought yet another blast of blowing and drifting snow to the Kincardine area.

The snow squalls began in the evening on Christmas Day and continued with fierce wind and freezing temperatures on Boxing Day.

Wednesday is expected to bring more of the same, with snow squalls and hazardous driving conditions.

The weather is supposed to improve later in the week, with just a few flurries by the weekend.

Meanwhile, motorists were having a tough drive on Boxing Day, as the roads were snow-covered and slippery, with white-out conditions.

Highway 21, between Amberley and Goderich, was closed at 9 a.m., Tuesday, due to blowing snow and poor driving conditions.

By 8:30 p.m., Highway 21, between Kincardine and Port Elgin, was also closed due to high wind, poor visibility and poor driving conditions.
