Kincardine Theatre Guild in rehearsals for "Surburban Standoff"
The Kincardine Theatre Guild is in rehearsals for its next production, "Suburban Standoff," a comedy by Michael Grant.

The story centres around Ty who is in need of cash, so with the help of his girlfriend, Candy, he stages his first home invasion. However, the home he's chosen may be the wrong one, as the home owners seem to know more about guns than he does.

The play features two new members of the theatre guild: Andy Wasylycia who plays Hank, and Angela Gibson who plays Nancy. Rounding out the cast, are Bruce Fenton as Ty, and Erica Everingham as Candy.

Tickets are now available at J'Adorn in downtown Kincardine or by calling the box office at 519-396-9000. Seating is cabaret-style.

With the cold, snowy weather we've experienced so far this winter, a night out, enjoying a laugh and bottle of wine with a few friends, is just what the doctor ordered.

"Surburban Standoff" opens Feb. 23 at 8 p.m., at the Kincardine Arts Centre, and runs Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.; Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.; and March 1-3, and 9-10, at 8 p.m.
