Labour council to hold information picket Friday at Tim Hortons in downtown Kincardine

The Grey-Bruce Labour Council will be holding an information picket at the Tim Hortons store on Queen Street, Kincardine, Friday at noon.

There was a national call from the Canadian Labour Congress to hold information pickets at Tim Hortons, Jan. 19. Organizers hope the public will attend this event.

"Let’s ‘Roll Up’ together to let Tim Hortons, its corporate office, RBI (Restaurant Brands International), and any other employer taking punitive action against workers due to the minimum wage increase or other changes from Bill 148, know that these actions are unacceptable," states the labour council, in a press release.
