Readers respond to loss of Bud Hamilton; and lottery scam

RE: "Former Lucknow fire chief, Bud Hamilton, dies at the age of 91"

Our sincere condolences to the Hamilton family.

We did not know he was such a prominent member of the community.

Only crossed paths once when he was in his mobile vehicle - a very engaging fellow - he will be missed.

RE: "Senior almost falls victim to lottery scam"

I can’t believe that anyone would send money to claim money. These scammers must be good!

Kudos to the bank for catching this.
