Respiratory outbreak in long-term care at Trillium Court, Pinecrest Manor

The long-term care facilities at Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine, and Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Lucknow have restricted access due to a respiratory illness outbreak.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit states that all of Pinecrest Manor has been affected by the outbreak since Monday, Jan. 29.

At Trillium Court, the long-term care wing has been affected since Tuesday, Feb. 6. Visitors can still visit if their family member is not ill, but they are restricted to visiting just that person and then leaving the building. Long-term care residents cannot leave the floor.

Meanwhile, the Trillium Court retirement home, including the seniors' apartments and the lodge, remains open to everyone.
