Coastal Speaker Series slated for March 1 in Kincardine
The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation is holding a Coastal Speaker Series, Thursday, March 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Kincardine.
This is an opportunity to discover diverse topics from across Bruce County regarding Lake Huron's unique coastal habitats. The evening is a chance to share experiences across Lake Huron, learn a bit from the speakers, and hear an update on the Coastal Action Plan for Lake Huron.
Speakers include:
- Mike Warkentin, director of the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association
- Emily Martin, project co-ordinator of the Pine River Watershed Initiative Network
- Tineasha Brenot of the Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation
- BRUCEDALE WETLAND PHRAGMITES REMOVAL
This free, family-friendly event is open to everyone, and is meant to be a fun opportunity for learning, sharing and experiencing more around Lake Huron’s beautiful coast.
