"Tea with the OPP" in Goderich
(HURON COUNTY, ON) - As promised, the Huron County OPP will be hosting another "Tea with the OPP" event - this time in Goderich.
In December, the Huron County OPP hosted its first "Tea with the OPP" event in Exeter, and despite the frigid conditions and heavy snowfall, the event was an unquestionable success. Several individuals commented that it was a great idea and certainly a worthwhile endeavour.
Based on that feedback alone, it's easy to see the tremendous value in hosting these events throughout the county.
So for those who aren't in the know, "Tea with the OPP" is simply an opportunity for officers to connect with local citizens in a relaxed manner. This community-based program is a great way to break down barriers and share information.
Stop by, grab a hot beverage and have a chat with an officer who polices in your community. Whether you have questions, concerns, suggestions, praise or criticisms, OPP members will be on hand to listen and learn.
The Goderich "Tea with the OPP" event will be held
Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 10-11 a.m., at Pat and Kevin's On The Square, located at
58 Courthouse Square.
Details on further events will be announced at a later time.
