Ontario government offering summer job program

Each year, the Ontario government offers a number of programs to provide summer job opportunities to high school, college or university students looking for work.

 

Last year, more than 100,000 students were able to find jobs or receive help through the summer job programs that the province offers.

 

"It can be very difficult for youth to find a summer job," says Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson. "I encourage my constituents looking for work opportunities to visit www.ontario.ca/readysetwork to assist in their search,"

 

The site is useful for those under the age of 30, who are looking for programs or tools to help them build skills, start a business or find work.
