KDSS girls hockey team wins CWOSSA silver
The Kincardine District Secondary School girls hockey team made it to the CWOSSA gold-medal game, but had to settle for silver after losing to St. David's of Kitchener, 2-1.

A great crowd turned out for the final, held Tuesday, March 6, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

St. David's opened the scoring late in the first period and then made it a 2-0 game in the second.

Lauren Thede of the KDSS Knights scored early in the third to come within one, but time ran out and St. David's took the game and the gold medal, advancing to OFSAA.
