Sunny and cold for annual Kincardine Rotary Easter Egg Hunt

It was a sunny but cold morning as a huge crowd of children, parents and grandparents gathered in Victoria Park, Kincardine, for the 11^th annual Rotary Easter Egg Hunt.

Rotarians were on hand to scatter the treat-filled Easter eggs on a bed of straw so the children could rush in and grab the colourful eggs.

The event began with children, ages five to seven searching for eggs; followed by those under age five; and finally, the youth, ages eight to 10. After the melee had ended, there were a few extra Easter eggs for those who hadn't found any so everyone enjoyed a treat.

The Kincardine Fire Department had its aerial ladder track at the park, allowing children to check out the vehicle.

The Easter Bunny was greeting children and handing out treats.
