Carrie Pynn of Kincardine celebrates her 100th birthday

Carrie Pynn of Trillium Court Seniors Community, Kincardine, celebrated her 100
th birthday, Tuesday, surrounded by family and friends in the atrium at Trillium Court.
Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, Mrs. Pynn worked for Purity Foods, and enjoyed doing ceramics and needlework.
She was married to Archibald Pynn who died in 2000; and they had one son, Lawrence, who died in 2012. Her daughter-in-law, Linda Pynn, lives in Kincardine. She also has a sister, Jessie, and a brother, Eric, who both live in Newfoundland.
Mrs. Pynn moved to Trillium Court 13 years ago, along with her dog, “Pepsi.”
A small crowd celebrated with her Tuesday, enjoying birthday cake and refreshments, as well as some entertainment.
