Memorial service for Cliff Emmerton, April 14, at Point Clark Community Centre
Cliff Emmerton of Lucknow and formerly of Ripley, died Dec. 30, 2017, at Pinecrest Manor. He was 74.
Dear father of Diane and Chris Dowding of London, Shannon Emmerton of Mississauga, Rob and partner Michelle Kirwin of Woodstock.
Missed by his grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Reilly and Johnathan.
Left to mourn, are his siblings Elizabeth (John) Cruikshank of Victoria, B.C., Jim (Jane) of Vancouver, B.C., and Eleanor (Jack) Findlay of Guelph; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father, Chester (1999); mother, Irene, (nee Johnston, 2011); and first wife, Jill (nee Elliott).
A service will be conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron, Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., at the Point Clark Community Centre, with the memorial service immediately following.
Interment, Ripley Cemetery.
Donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 440, Ripley-Huron, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
