Natural ice sculptures along Lake Huron shore at Goderich Street, Kincardine
Mother Nature has provided the Kincardine area with some strange weather over the past few weeks, including a startling spring snowstorm Wednesday, April 4, that resulted in Highway 21 being closed in the afternoon and remaining closed until early Thursday morning, April 5.
However, that blowing and drifting snow also created some beautiful ice sculptures along the lakeshore, as the high water level in Lake Huron splashed onto the vegetation, encapsulating it in some amazing ice formations.
The following photo gallery was captured by Glenn Brandon of Kincardine, Thursday evening, April 5, along the shoreline at Goderich Street, south of Bruce Avenue, Kincardine.
