Fund-raiser in support of Ripley Grade 7 trip to Royal Winter Fair
The Ripley Agricultural Society is holding a spaghetti dinner fund-raiser, Sunday, May 27, from 4:30-7 p.m., at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.
The event is in support of the Ripley-Huron Community School Grade 7 trip to the Royal Winter Fair.
Students and members of the agricultural society will be serving at the dinner.
Tickets are $15 each for adults; $8 each for children (aged six to 10); and free for children (aged five and under); available at the door or by E-mail at

Meanwhile, the agricultural society has announced the theme for its 155
th Ripley-Huron Fall Fair, slated for Sept. 28-29: “Barns, Bales, Buttons and Blooms.”

"Friday Night Under The Lights" will include: Bale Rolling, Nail Driving and Log Sawing, Pedal Tractor Pull and much more - sponsored by the Carpenters’ District Council of Ontario Local 2222.
Returning Events feature the Bervie Zoo, BlackRock Climbers, Carter's Midway, Meet A Mega Machine, Snippity The Clown, Wildlife Mount Display and the Antique Car and Truck Show.
New entertainment shows include the Brent and Sarah Comedy Magic Show and Soper Creek Wild Agriculture Educational Show.
