Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trailâ„¢ back for another sweet year of prizes

The Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail™ is back for its eighth year, with more prizes up for grabs!

Have you ever tried to complete the trail but found summer got away on you and you just could not visit those last few stops? We’ve got good news - now you need to visit only four stops in order to receive a prize!

Don’t worry Ice Cream Trail™ enthusiasts, you will still receive a FREE T-shirt upon completion of the trail and a chance to win the grand prize of 250 Huron-Kinloss Dollars!

For those of you who are new to the Ice Cream Trail™, this is a fun-filled photo scavenger hunt for the whole family. It takes participants to ice cream stops along the route, past beaches, unique shops, golf courses, parks, trails, splash pads and a pool.

This year, the theme of the trail is “It’s Reunion Time!,” highlighting some great family-friendly attractions and activities.

The Ice Cream Trail™ is also a contest! Players follow a map to nine ice cream stops in the township, and read clues to find Sammy Sprinkles. Once you find Sammy, take a picture with him at each location and submit the pictures with a completed entry form to the township.

You will receive a free T-shirt for collecting all the required pictures and a chance to win the grand prize. Special prizes will also be awarded for the most creative and largest group photos and for using the hashtag #IceCreamTrail on social media.

Young or old, the Ice Cream Trail™ is a great way to spend time with family and friends.

The contest runs May 18 to Sept. 30, and entries must be received by Oct. 8, to qualify for the grand prize.
