Kempton Construction supports local elite hockey program

Kempton Construction, a locally-owned and locally-operated business based in Amberley, has donated $500 toward the operating costs of the Bruce County Kings 2010-aged AAA hockey program.

The spring program runs from mid-April to June and provides local, young elite hockey players the opportunity to practise and play against other top players in North America.

The 2010 Minor Novice squad is primarily composed of Grey-Bruce-area selected athletes. Through two tournaments the ’10 Kings have been finalists twice and look to repeat such success in a London-area event this weekend.

The donated funds have been put toward ice time for practices and exhibition games, and incurred travel costs to distance tournaments, as well as referees and other operating costs within the program.
