Do you have what it takes to pull a fire truck?
(HURON COUNTY, ON) - The Huron County OPP Youth Advisory Council has thrown down the challenge: Assemble a five-person team and see how far you can pull a fire truck, ambulance and police cruiser.
This friendly competition/fund-raising event is set to take place
Friday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clinton Raceway, located on Beech Street in Clinton.
The Huron OPP Youth Advisory Council is encouraging local businesses, organizations, clubs and groups of friends to support this one-of-a kind fund-raising initiative. Teams are asked to donate $100 for the opportunity to participate. All proceeds will be donated to local Huron County charities.
First Responder teams from the Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department are currently registered. If you are interested in registering a team or would like further details about the event, contact constable Lynn McNichol at
Lynn.McNichol@opp.ca
Those signed up for the event will require all the support they can get to pull all those tonnes. So if you can make it over to the Clinton Raceway to cheer on the participants, your support would be greatly appreciated.
