Colette LePage leads “A” Flight for Ainsdale ladies; and Senior Men's Scramble results

Colette LePage led “A” Flight with 22 Stableford points in the ladies league at Ainsdale Golf Course, Tuesday, followed by Karen Neilipovitz with 21, and a tie for third with 20 points, Maureen Peet and Sharon MacDonald. Skins winners were Christie DeGuzman, Sharon MacDonald, Karen Neilipovitz and Maureen Peet.

“E” Flight – Gail MacIntosh, 22; Ruth Johnston, 21, Pat Emmerton and Shelly Pollock tied, 19. Skins winner: Shelly Pollock.

Michele Lanthier won the 50-50 draw. And prize winners, thanks to Brent McClung of Callaway, were; Ruth Johnston, Jen Lawrie, Bev Ramage, Jackie Mitchell, Nancy Stewart, Judy Gordon and Shirley Thomas.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

At the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, the team of Bob Wolfenden, Roger Pilon, Lorne Seal and John Curtis, took first place, with minus-five.

In second, was the team of Mike Fauteux, Terry Colwell, Jim Martin and Brian Wheate, with minus-five; and in third, was the team of Murray Wardell, John Farrell, Bob Bull and Percy Courtney, with minus-four.

Closest-to-the-pin winners were Peter Newson on No. 3; and Murray Elston on No. 8.

Team that had the most fun: Dick Ford, Dan MacDonald, Bryan Marsh and Harold Maurer.
