Police investigating after pedestrian hit by vehicle in downtown Kincardine
(KINCARDINE, ON) - July 26, at 10:47 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a collision involving a pedestrian on Queen Street, Kincardine.
Officers and Bruce County Paramedics arrived to find a sport utility vehicle was involved. Both the pedestrian and the vehicle driver were taken to a local hospital for medical care. The pedestrian was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Queen Street was closed at Lambton Street for the protection of emergency responders, but has since re-opened to traffic.
The investigation is in its early stages.
