Canadian Armed Forces training south of Goderich

(CENTRAL HURON & GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County OPP is advising the public that the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will be conducting military training at the former Bluewater Youth Centre near Goderich, now through Sept. 10.

Nearby residents may experience higher noise levels for the duration of these activities due to the use of explosives in the training exercises.

To ensure safety, it is advised that the public stay out of the immediate vicinity of the former Bluewater Youth Centre for the duration of the training. 

Be assured that there will be no damage done to the building. It is the CAF practice to leave training sites in an equal or better state than when the force arrived.
