Barb Grubb wins ladies' day; Travis McLaughlin tops men's; and senior men's results at Ainsdale

Barb Grubb won “A” Flight, with 21 Stableford points, in the ladies league at Ainsdale Golf Course, Tuesday. Tied for second, were Debby Antler and Sharon MacDonald, with 19. Skins winners, were Barb Grubb, Karen Neilipovitz and Maureen Peet.

“B” Flight – Deb Peg, 25; Anne Burton, Cindy Schmidt and Nancy Stewart tied, 20. Skins winners, were Deb Pegg, Wendy Gardner and Cindy Schmidt.

“C” Flight – Diane Sutter, 21; Jean Rhude and Shirley Cole tied, 19. Skin winners, were Alexis Gallant, Shirley Cole, Sandy Petter, Shelly Pollock and Diane Small.

“D” Flight – Nancy Turcotte, 21; Ruth Johnston, 20; Martha Lootsma, 19. Skins winner, were Kristy Garneau, Ethel McDonald and Bev Ramage.

“E” Flight – Pat Emmerton, 23; Edie Fotheringham, 21; Muriel Cochrane, 20. Skins winners, were Pat Emmerton and Edie Fotheringham.

Travis McLaughlin won “A” Flight at Men's Night, with a score of 29.1 Thursday, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

In the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, the team of Doug McLaughlin, Clarke Pollock, Victor DeGuzman and Grant Fotheringham took the top spot.

In second place, was the team of Ron McDonald, Ron Lawless, Hugh Jones and Larry Irwin.

And in third, was the team of Harvey Lootsma, John Downs, Scott Stevens and Vaughn Munro.

Closest-to-the-pin, were Tony Stapley on No. 3; and Bill Ellis on No. .

The team that had the most fun, included David Grant, Brian Rhody, Bruce Sine and Jim Levangie.
