Approval for new Kincardine high school may take decade, says reader

RE: “Parents upset with plan to move Grades 7 and 8 students to KDSS next fall”
It may only take up to five years from approval to completion for a new school but try getting that approval in less than 10 years.
If the students who go to high school in Walkerton came back, there wouldn’t be so many empty classrooms at Kincardine District Secondary School.
Normally, this type of proposal takes more than a couple of months.
