With 15 wins, 11 losses and one tie, the Kincardine Bulldogs are in third place, with 32 points, behind first-place Wingham, and second-place Mount Forest, in the Pollock Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

This past weekend, the Bulldogs were edged by Wingham, 4-3; and blanked by Mount Forest, 4-0.

Friday night, in Wingham, the home team opened the scoring early in the first period, but Kincardine tied it up on a goal by Jerrid Fossold, unassisted.

Jordan Caskenette worked the powerplay and scored midway in the second, from Mike Fiegehen and Logan Swanton, to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead, but Wingham then scored two quick goals to take a 3-2 lead.

Early in the third, Joshua Traynor tied things up for the 'Dogs on the powerplay, from Fiegehen, but minutes later, Wingham scored and held that 4-3 lead to the end of the game, to take the win.

The previous weekend, the Bulldogs blanked Hanover, 3-0, but lost to Mount Forest, 4-2.

This Saturday night, Hanover will be at the Davidson Centre to face the Bulldogs; game time is 7:25 p.m. And Sunday, Kincardine plays Goderich at the Lucknow Arena; game time is 2 p.m.
