Kincardine chamber of commerce to host Fish Kincardine Derby in May

The Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the annual Fish Kincardine Derby, slated for May 17-26 this year.

Ashley Richards, executive director of the chamber, says the organization is looking for individuals interested in sitting on the derby committee.

“There will be monthly meetings until April, when there will be two meetings that month,” she says. “Meetings are kept to roughly one hour, and occur during work hours.”

Richards says the fishing derby could not operate without the generous support of sponsors, such as Canadian Tire Kincardine.

“More sponsors are needed so if your company or group is interested in viewing a sponsorship package, please let me know,” she says.
