Ripley-Huron Skating Club recognizes skaters' accomplishments

The Ripley-Huron Skating Club recognized its skaters' accomplishments with the presentation of awards at the skating banquet.

CanSkate winners:
 

• Lauren Cassidy, CanSkate Achievement Award
• MaKenna Haldenby, Learn to Skate Achievement Award
• Cole Cepek, CanSkater of the Year Award
• Alayna Middelkamp and Samantha D’Arcey, CanSkate Champion Awards

StarSkate winners
 

• Abby MacDonald, PA Assistant Award)
• Julia Richardson, Senior StarSkate Achievement Award
• Alexis Milner, Junior StarSkate Achievement Award
• Bethany Wilken and Marley Martyn, Diamond Dance Achievement Awards
• Kenzie Fry and Cloee Rivet, Most Improved Awards
• Rosie Laidler, Ripley Shining Star Award and Gold Dance Award
   

The Ripley-Huron Skating Club also received a generous donation of $2,000 from the Society of Energy Professionals to assist with the fund-raising efforts for a new music sound system at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.
