The Tiverton and District Lions Club is holding its annual Garage Sale Friday, May 8, from 6-9 p.m., with a barbecue at 5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to Noon, at the Tiverton Annex (beside the Community Centre). Donations for the sale can be made on Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday, May 7, from 6-9 p.m.; and Friday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please no upholstered furniture, large appliances or clothing.
The Tiverton and District Lions will be holding a Walk for Dog Guides, Sunday, May 31, at 1 p.m., at the Lions Hall. Pledge sheets are available at local businesses.
May is Crop Share Month. If you are interested in making a donation to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, call 519-368-7235. The crop this year is wheat.
