(CARRICK TWP, ON) – May 1, at 6:09 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bruce County Road 28 and Huron-Bruce Road.
Officers arrived to find that a green Chevrolet Camaro had collided with a white International stake truck.
There were two occupants in the Camaro. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Identity is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. The passenger was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
The road has been closed for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.
The investigation is in its early stages.
