Bulldogs host Mitchell tonight in Game 4 of playoffs - Game postponed due to snowstorm

The Kincardine Fairmount Security Junior “C” Bulldogs are up two games to one, in their playoff series against the Mitchell Hawks, as they host Game 4, tonight (Feb. 8), at the Davidson Centre. Game time is 8:25 p.m.

[Due to a snowstorm that blew into the Kincardine area Friday afternoon, Game 4 was postponed.]

The Bulldogs lost the opening game of the series when they fell, 2-0, in Kincardine, last Friday (Feb. 1).

The following day in Mitchell, the 'Dogs rallied for a 4-1 win. Scoring for Kincardine, were Jake Fair, Logan Freiburger, Brett Burrows and Logan Swanton, with assists to Brent West, Jordan Caskenette, Hunter Robins-Gibbons, Jerrid Fossold, and Mike Fiegehen.

At home, Sunday afternoon, the Bulldogs blanked the Hawks, 4-0, to take the series lead. Goal-scorers were Jesse Carnahan, Freiburger, Fiegehen and Swanton, with assists to West (2), Caskenette, Burrows, Kent Ribey, Blake Buchanan and Freiburger.

The Bulldogs play Game 4 tonight at the Davidson Centre, followed by Game 5 in Mitchell, Sunday, Feb. 10, at 4:10 p.m.; Game 6, if necessary, in Mitchell, Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m.; and Game 7, if necessary, in Kincardine, Thursday, Feb. 14, at 8:55 p.m.

Kincardine finished the regular season in third place, behind Mount Forest and Wingham, in the Pollock Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
