Great story about Joyce Van Dam celebrating her 100th birthday

Thanks for the story about Joyce Van Dam turning 100.

I was so excited to read this article since I was unable to attend the celebration! 

The story is so well-written and the photos are terrific! 

Thanks for letting everyone know more about her and the wonderful tributes from her family and friends!

Great story on Joyce Van Dam. She is quite amazing.

I have known a few 100-year-olds (very few) and I would say she is the brightest and healthiest of those I have encountered.

Her son, Harry, and I have been friends since the early 1970s. The odd time he has talked about what his folks went through during the war.

Joyce told you about the bread for their wedding day. The Nazis were literally starving the occupied Dutch. Quite a way to start out in married life.
