Ripley Wolves down 2-0 in finals against Clinton

The Ripley Wolves are down 2-0 in their WOAA Senior “AA” final against the Clinton Radar, after dropping the first two games in the series on the weekend.

Game 1 was Saturday night and the stands were packed at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

The Wolves managed to battle back from a two-goal, third-period deficit but lost in overtime, 5-4.

Goals were scored by Dylan Sayle (2), Garrett Meurs, and Cody Britton. Assists went to Gerrit Satosek (3), Jarred Colling (2), Jeff Alcombrack, Ben Hughes, and Nick Seiler.

Ryan MacDonald took the loss in the Wolves net.

Sunday night in Clinton, the Wolves were blanked, 3-0, including an empty-netter.

Jason Hamilton got the start in the Wolves net and took the loss.

The Wolves travel to Clinton for Game 3, set for Friday, March 29, at 8:30 p.m. Game 4 is back in Ripley, Sunday, March 31, at 3 p.m.
