J'Adorn opens Hanover store; has wonderful new items in both locations
A demand for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ and workshops further inland, prompted Corinne Robertson-Brown, owner/operator of J'Adorn in downtown Kincardine, to open a second store in Hanover.

"We had customers coming here from Walkerton, Mount Forest, Owen Sound and Durham, to attend Chalk Paint™ workshops," says Robertson-Brown. "So, we decided to open a second location in that area."

The doors opened March 28, with a grand opening planned for June.

The new store has the same look and feel as the Kincardine store, with its great combination of a chic Parisian boutique, a Provence flea market, and a hidden Italian courtyard. Both are fresh, different and beautiful, featuring an inspiring variety of  European giftware and home décor.

"But both stores don't carry identical items," says Robertson-Brown. "We have been wonderfully-received in Hanover; everyone has been so welcoming. The customers' comments have been overwhelmingly positive."

The Hanover store is located at 322 - 10th Street.

Meanwhile, in Kincardine, there are lots of unique and beautiful items available, including an assortment of dressy, spring hats; jewellery by Betsey Johnson, a 72-year-old flamboyant jewellery designer; book boxes; new cushions and scarves; a new line of stationery items; comforters and artwork; Barefoot Venus, a Canadian line of bath and body products; new soaps; Kits in a Tin for children and adults; new decorative stencils; new tapestries, equestrian art, handmade cards.

And the Gurgle Pots now come in small, medium and large.

Check out J'Adorn, located at 770 Queen Street, in downtown Kincardine, call 519-396-4438, on the web at www.jadorn.ca or like it on Facebook. Open Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday and holidays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
