Denise Tighe, Maureen Peet tie for top spot in “A” Flight for ladies at Ainsdale; and senior men's results

Denise Tighe and Maureen Peet took top spot in “A” Flight at Ainsdale Ladies Day, Tuesday, with a net score of 35.

In third, was Barb Grubb with 37. Skins winners, were Peet and Tighe.

“B” Flight – Antoinetta MacDonald and Cindy Schmidt tied, 36; and Nancy Stewart, 40. Skins winners, were Cathy Chambers, Kathy Mackay, Schmidt, Stewart and Shirley Thomas.

“C” Flight – Sharon McKay tied with Anne Rock, 33; and Alexis Gallant, 34. Skins winners,were Gallant and Bev Spence.

“D” Flight – Susan Morrison, 29; Jean Rhude, 35; and Kristy Garneau, 40. Skins winners, were Morrison and Rhude.

“E” Flight – Sandy Black, 31; Jeannette Bellan, 39; and Susan Earle, 41. Skins winners, were Bellan, Black and Shirley Cole.

Winner of the 50-50 draw, was Pat Emmerton, $26.50.

Labatts was the sponsor, and draw prize winners were: Beth Mimnagh, Anne Rock, Betty Hunter, Gloria Coulter and Shawna Small.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

The team of Harvey Lootsma, Bob Bylsma, Victor DeGuzman and Al Norman won the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday.

In second, was the team of Michael Fauteux, Tony Stapley, Jim Guenther and Rod Shanks.

And in third, was the team of Murray Wardell, John Downs, Jim Martin and Ben Blais.

Closest to the Pin winners, were Harvey Lootsma at No. 3; and Larry Irwin at No. 8.

The team that had the most fun, included Dennis Pierson, Bill Ellis, Al Holl, and Larry Irwin.
