Cool, clear weather for World Fiddle Day in downtown Kincardine
The weather was cool but clear for the fifth annual World Fiddle Day held Saturday afternoon, May 18, in downtown Kincardine.
Last year, the event was forced indoors due to inclement weather.
But this year, a great crowd gathered on Harbour Street to enjoy the fabulous line-up of talent, including the Kincardine Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, the Street Fiddlers, Randy Morrison, and the Celtic Academy Canada Irish Dancers.
Co-ordinator Deb Morris welcomed everyone and noted that the open air show would be followed by a pub session, with more music and fun, at the Walker House.
The free event is sponsored by Lakeside Downtown Kincardine, and the Bruce County Fiddlers' Association.
