Neilipovitz, Peet top the scoring for Ainsdale ladies; Bellan wins for men; plus senior men's results

Karen Neilipovitz and Maureen Peet tied for the top spot in “A” Flight, with a net score of 37, at Ladies' Day, Tuesday, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

Third place went to Colette LePage, with 39. Skins winners, were Neilipovitz, Peet, Cindy Schmidt and Denise Tighe.

“B” Flight – Anne Burton and Jean Rhude tied for first, 37; and Chris McBride and Christie DeGuzman tied for third, 38. Skins winners, were DeGuzman and Bev Spence.

“C” Flight – Four-way tie for first, Alexis Gallant, Norie Dickson, Una MacDonald and Wendy Gardner, 37. Skins winners, were Gallant, Gardner and Judy Gordon.

“D” Flight – Sandy Liddle, 32; Marianne Irwin and Norma Jean Rhody tied, 35. Skins winners, were Liddle, Barb McBride, Rene Renaud, and Rhody.

Winner of the 50-50 draw, was Donna Murray, $27.50.

The sponsor was Barclay Wholesale, and draw prize winner was Alexis Gallant.

MEN'S NIGHT RESULTS

Ken Bellan took “A” Flight at Men's Night, Thursday evening at Ainsdale, with a net score of 33.4. In second, was Dana Murray, 35.4; followed by Chris Brown, 35.9; Derek Regier, 36.2; and Don Turcotte, 36.7. Skins winners, were Brown, Charles Candler, Travis McLaughlin, Murray and Dennis Schmidt.

“B” Flight – Rick Kinjerski, 33.5; James Bailey, 34.1; Dave Neilipovitz, 36.3; Derek Elmes, 37.3; Marty Will, 38.6. Skins winners, were Bailey, Kinjerski and Arno Weissenboeck.

“C” Flight – Rene Brajuha, 33.2; Mike Meraw, 34.9; Dalton Regier, 35; Sean Poisson and Doug McLaughlin tied, 36.2. Skins winners, were Meraw, Poisson and Regier.

“D” Flight – Ron Lawless, 32.8; Chris Stam, 34.4; Phil Thompkins, 34.8; Adam Burgess, 36.5; Brock Lowry, 37.4. Skins winners, were Derek Andrew, Dane Dunlop, Lawless, Jim Martin and Todd Thompson.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

The team of Doug McLaughlin, Bob Bylsma, Ken Bresee and Bob Bull, won the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, sponsored by MacGregor Enterprises and Tartan Home Inspections.

In second, was the team of Al Bowers, Ken Ellis, John Pickett and Roy Douglas.

And in third, was the team of Gary Firth, Ron Wright, George Sled and Richard Emmerton.

Closest to the Pin winners, were John Gauch at No. 17, and Lorne Seal at No. 12.

The team that had the most fun, included Bob Simmons, Bill Ellis, Al Norman and Peter Newson.
