Stewart wins for Ainsdale ladies; Martyn wins for men; and senior men's results

Nancy Stewart took the the top spot in “A” Flight, with a net score of 32, at Ladies' Day, Tuesday at the Ainsdale Golf Course.

Second place went to Deb Pegg with 34; and there was a three-way tie for third, Barb Grubb, Donna Murray and Sharon MacDonald, 35. Skins winners, were Karen Neilipovitz and Pegg.

“B” Flight – Wendy Gardner, 27; three-way tie for second, Bev Ramage, Christie DeGuzman and Colette LePage, 33. Skins winners, were Jeanette Bellan and Gardner.

“C” Flight – Betty Hunter, 28; Anne Rock, 31; and Alexis Gallant, 32. Skins winners, were Gallant, Hunter and Rock.

“D” Flight – Tie for first, Barb McBride and Ethel McDonald, 28; and Gloria Coulter, 30. Skins winners, were Coulter, Kristy Garneau, Barb Lansink and McBride.

Winner of the 50-50 draw, was Pat Emmerton, $30.50.

The sponsor was MicroAge Basics, and draw prize winners were Sharon McKay, Barb Grubb and Trudy Catto.

MEN'S NIGHT RESULTS

A record 98 players attended the Men's Steak Night, Thursday, at Ainsdale, with Scott Martyn taking the win for “A Flight,” with a net score of 31.4.

In second, was Paul Catto, 31.5; followed by Phil Willits, 32.7; George MacDonald, 33; and Derek Regier, 33.4 Skins winners, were Catto, Martyn, Regier and Jon Thompson.

“B” Flight – Murray Wardell, 31.8; Jason Nowakowski, 33.3; Keegan Newsham, 33.5; Brandon Wilson, 34; and Boyd Carruthers, 35.3 Skins winners, were Rick Kinjerski and Wilson.

“C” Flight – Bob Black, 30.2; Dalton Regier, 31.4; Blair Pollock, 31.6; Lynn Finlayson, 31.7; Tyler Frook, 32.4 Skins winners, were Michael Fauteux and Kyle Gallant.

“D” Flight – Brett Colhoun, 26.9; Jim Martin, 29.7; Jeff Renaud, 30.1; Mike McKenzie, 30.7; and Art Jolley, 31.8 Skins winners, were Martin, McKenzie and Terry Vollmer.

The 50-50 draw winner was Doug McLaughlin, $49.99.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

The team of Al Bowers, Mo MacKenzie, Peter Morris and Lorne Seal, won the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, sponsored by MacGregor Enterprises and Tartan Home Inspections.

In second, was the team of Murray Wardell, Dennis Pierson, Ken Bresee and Bruce Sine.

And in third, was the team of Harvey Lootsma, Ken Ellis, Doug Dechene and Rod Shanks.

Closest to the Pin winners, were Hugh Jones at No. 3, and Seamus Keane at No. 8.

The team that had the most fun, included Michael Fauteux, Bob Bylsma, Scott Stevens and Doc McLeod.
